COMPETITION CHAMPIONS
Slide competitions were a major part of the club scene until 2009 and then they were discontinued as Digital Projected Images (DPI) had taken over.
The Special Subject Slide competitions such as the President’s Trophy for sets of three pictures and the Allan Potts Nature Trophy changed from slides to PDI in 2009.
Prints featured in the early days of the club but disappeared after 1971 until they made a come back in 1986. They have become more popular in recent years with the advent of digital printing.
The Season’s Championships have been decided each year over a series of competitions.
