The Annual General Meeting took place on 29 April. The President, Andrew Nicoll,
presented the trophies and certificates to the competition winners of the 2013-
The 5 Club Competition was held at Wallsend on 26 February and was judged by June Shaw. Cambois were the winners. They were 70 points clear of Wallsend in second place, their score was 30% lower than the lowest score ever achieved in the history of the competition. The scores awarded had the audience gasping in disbelief. Prior to this year the lowest mark for any picture had been 17, but this year the majority of the pictures scored less than that, with the bottom image receiving just 6 marks. This year’s competition lacked the usual excitement of previous years when the placings have often been unknown until the last few pictures have been shown. This year the outcome was fairly obvious very early in the evening. The result was
Cambois 227, Wallsend 157, Blyth 142, Cramlington 139, Whitley Bay 118.
